Pier is a Windows 10/11 app that mounts Nextcloud, ownCloud and any WebDAV server, SFTP over SSH and NFSv3 exports as a real drive letter, so Explorer, Office, backup tools and scripts see an ordinary disk. Files are fetched in blocks into a local cache, interrupted uploads and downloads resume from the last block, the drive reconnects on its own after a Wi-Fi or VPN drop, and an offline mode keeps working from the cache. Before the first mount Pier checks what the server supports and shows a report. It runs as a Windows service for every user. Free for up to 5 drives with an ad banner; Pro removes the limit and the ads for USD 19 per year.
